AhlulBayt News Agency: The incident took place in Santibastwad village in the Belagavi area, where worshippers discovered the sacred texts missing during morning prayers. A subsequent search led to the discovery of the charred remains of Quran copies and two Hadith books in a nearby field.
The Muslim community, along with members of civil society, staged a strong protest against the heinous act, demanding immediate action against the culprits.
Protestors, including local residents, raised slogans in favour of Islam and marched towards the deputy commissioner’s office, calling for the immediate arrest of those behind the desecration.
